The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.lasultanedesaba.co.uk

These terms constitute a legal document ("the Agreement"),  and  sets out the rights and obligations the Purchaser  ("you", “the Purchaser”), and those of The Haven ("The Haven", “the Company”, "we" or "us"),  in relation to the services and products offered by us through this site.

It is a requirement that you accept these Terms and Conditions when placing an order.

1. Applicable law

The Haven is a company registered in Scotland. Those who choose to access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent that local laws are applicable.

Scottish law shall govern this Agreement. You and we each submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts in relation to any dispute arising out of this Agreement.

2. Acceptance of orders

2.1 Any electronic acknowledgement provided by us of an order does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order.

2.2 The contract of sale is created at the point of despatch of your goods.

2.3 Goods will be supplied at their correct prevailing prices and descriptions. Should this differ from the price/description shown on the site we will give you the right to reject the goods within a reasonable time period for a full refund.

2.4 It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to determine the suitability of the goods for any application. We do not guarantee the suitability of the goods for any specific purpose from any description displayed or verbal advice given by a Company employee and we make no representation that any product referred to on the La Sultane De Saba website is appropriate for use, or available to purchase.

2.5 Liability for breach of any warranty or obligation either expressed or implied is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

3. Returns and cancellations policy

Subject to the right of Purchasers to return goods for a refund under The Supply of Goods and Services Act and Distance Selling Regulations, we do not sell products to try. Customers are strongly recommended to check suitability and specifications of products before ordering.

3.1 UK customers have a legal right to cancel their order from the point of placing the order until 7 working days after the day the goods are received and receive a full refund. Please contact us first before returning any goods.

Please provide your name, order reference and your postcode in any communication.

3.2 If you decide to cancel your order after the goods have been despatched you will need to ensure that the following requirements are met in full and you will also be responsible for returning the goods to The Haven at your own risk and cost and we recommend that you use an insured delivery method e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Except where goods are faulty, or incorrectly described on the website, ALL returns are subject to the following conditions:

·         Sealed Packaging – If the product is provided in sealed packaging such packing must be intact, unopened and unmarked for us to accept your return.

·         It must also be returned complete with any accessories in the original and undamaged outer packaging and not exhibiting any signs of wear or tear.

·         Any use of the purchased item beyond that necessary to VIEW the goods (unused) will invalidate your right to cancel the contract.

·         Any free gifts supplied with the product must also be returned.

·         Goods cancelled outside the 7 day period (but within 14 days of receipt) which cannot be re-sold as new may be subject to a restocking charge. Goods cannot be cancelled after this 14 day period.

·         Monies will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation date. In the case of credit or debit cards, this will be to the card used to make the purchase.

Faulty or incorrectly described goods

3.3 All goods sold by us are guaranteed for at least 12 months from the date of delivery.

3.4 If the fault occurs within 30 days of delivery you will have the option of a refund or exchange. This does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. It will help us to process your return if the goods are complete with the original packaging and supplied accessories. No refund will be processed until the faulty goods have been received and inspected by ourselves.

3.5 If the fault occurs after 30 days but within 12 months of delivery we will offer replacement only. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault but if no fault is found, return the goods to you.

3.10 This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights, details of which are available from Consumer Direct or your local Citizens Advice Bureau.

3.11 Purchasers resident outside the UK will be responsible for returning the goods at their own risk and cost during any of the above periods. Otherwise the same criteria apply.

4. Website content

4.1 The Haven shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this site.

4.2 Links to other site that may be provided are not under the control of The Haven and we will accept no responsibility or liability for the material on any of these sites.

5.3 Cookies are used on the site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket. Information and statistics may also be used for the purpose of monitoring site usage. These statistics do not include any information which could be used to identify any individual.

6. Delivery

Orders received Monday – Friday are normally despatched within one working day but please allow 5 days for delivery.

Any missing items from our deliveries or goods that have been received in a damaged state must be notified to us within 3 days of receipt.

8. Site Security

The entire checkout process for the La Sultane De Saba website is held on a secure server using a verified SSL (secure socket layer) system for transferring data. Depending on your browser, either a padlock symbol will appear or the address bar will change and you can click on these to check the authenticity of the security encryption. The SSL Server Certificate is currently issued by GlobalSign

Card payments are processed directly through VeriFone (http://lp.verifone.com/uk/ocius.aspx) utilising their secure payment system. Card information is not retained by The Haven or our systems.
